Pamela
Dorfman is the general manager and along
with her husband, Barry, is founder of Sattler
Artisans’ Alley. Mrs. Dorfman graduated from the
University of Texas – Pan American in 1993 with a
Magna Cum Laude degree in both Communication-Theatre Arts as well as in English with certification to
teach in both fields. Pamela's success as an
educator at the high school level as well as the
director of many University, Community Theatre and
High School theatrical productions makes her an
ideal community leader and business owner.
Her
husband, Lewis “Barry” Dorfman,
will serve as consultant to Pamela. Lewis’s
extensive experience in sales and marketing was
obtained first through his work with Schinley Liquor
, but was realized to a greater degree with eighteen
years of manufacturing with GM Corporation then with
his ownership of Ketchum Wood Products (an
unfinished and finished furniture line of 257
accounts stretching from mainland United States as
well as Alaska and
Hawaii in which were jobs such as
with numerous celebrities and the Los Angeles
Unified School District) and Butcher Block Designs
of California (which included commercial laminate
and hard rock maple surfaces for hotels, bakeries,
hospitals and restaurants; including the infamous
Hard Rock Cafes all over the world.
